Has anybody had any experience with Kinugawa TD04 turbos, after some ideas on performance compared to the IHI rhf5.

This is because the compressor (intake wheel) is too small and is going into what is called choke. Meaning the engine needs more air than the compressor can produce. Installing a 39-41mm wheel would fix it.
